Most Popular Stories on GIJN in 2018

It’s been an exciting year of great content and record traffic on GIJN. This year, we introduced three new languages on our site (Bangla, French and Portuguese), bringing our resources and daily feed into eight languages. We also upped our publishing schedule from three to five times a week to deliver the best reads, tips and tools to investigative journalists worldwide, from original pieces — such as our monthly Investigative Toolbox column — to reprints of articles on key issues facing watchdog reporters and their supporters worldwide.

What follows is a curated list we’ve put together of the top ten stories published on gijn.org this year — starting with the most popular and ranging from the deep web and deep fakes to design thinking and dataviz. Hope you enjoy it. We’re going to take next week off for some needed rest. Thanks for a great 2018, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
