We’re delighted to announce that GIJN has launched a new initiative: GIJN em Português, in partnership with our member the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji). Each day, we’ll be sharing the best investigative tips and tools, groundbreaking stories, grants and fellowships, data sets and more. Readers can:

Breno Costa is a journalist based in Brazil. He’s the founder and head of Journalistic Development of BRIO, a services and products hub for professional journalists and students in Brazil, offering mentoring and consulting for the development of journalism projects. He also host podcasts about journalism and the connection between journalism, media and technology. Breno is a former investigative reporter for Brazil’s Folha de S.Paulo and has covered corruption, with solid expertise in tracking official records and data. He has also published in The Intercept Brasil, revealing a corporate lobby to change labor rules in the country and exposing dozens of current military and law enforcement agents who are shareholders of private security companies in Rio de Janeiro.
