Lots to like in the just-announced Walkley Awards, which feature Australia's best journalism. Top prize went to The Teacher’s Pet, a podcast on the disappearance of a Sydney mother in 1982. Judges described the work as “a masterclass in investigative journalism." Other winners of note: an investigation into sexual harassment in the Aussie entertainment industry, deaths of indigenous people in custody, and reporting on Myanmar and Syria.
