The Forum on Information and Democracy: Development and Resource Officer
The Forum on Information and Democracy is the implementing body of the International Partnership for Information and Democracy, signed by 55 countries. Founded in 2019 by a coalition of 11 NGOs and research centers, the Forum’s mission is to safeguard democracy in the global information and communication space.
Through international working groups chaired by prominent figures such as Angel Gurría, Maria Ressa, Marietje Schaake, and Shoshana Zuboff, the Forum produces regulatory and self-regulatory recommendations for states, platforms, civil society, and other key stakeholders. It also hosts the International Observatory on Information and Democracy, which consolidates and analyzes global research on the impact of the information ecosystem on democratic systems.
To support its growth and further advance its mission, the Forum on Information and Democracy is seeking a Development and Resource Officer, based in Paris, France. This is a strategic position central to strengthening the Forum’s sustainability, fundraising capacity, and financial operations.
