Alcyone Wemaëre is a French journalist based in Paris. She is a former staff reporter of France24 and Europe1. Along with being GIJN’s French Editor, she is an associate professor at Sciences Po where she is co-responsible for the master’s degree in journalism, “data and investigation” specialty, created with CFJ.
Wemaëre graduated from Celsa and received the François Chalais Prize. Her work has also appeared in Le Monde, Slate, Infomigrants, La Chronique (Amnesty International), L’Obs, and Le Temps.
