Tri Joko Her Riadi is a journalist based in Bandung, Indonesia with more than 13 years experience as field reporter. He previously worked at Pikiran Rakyat daily, and maintains his interest on social and education issues. In 2014, Joko was the recipient of Adinegoro Awards for his coverage on the national education budget. He holds a masters degree in journalism at Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, and regularly teaches journalism classes and delivers trainings. Joko is the founder, and editor in chief, of BandungBergerak.id, an alternative local media focusing on marginalized communities and underreported issues. He is also a member of The Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Indonesia.
