Sri Lanka Investigative Center Launches

After months of planning, a group of Sri Lanka's top journalists have launched their nation's first independent Centre for Investigative Reporting in Colombo, the capital. “The Center is a collective effort of a group of journalists and media trainers who wish to raise the bar in Sri Lankan journalism," noted its Executive Director Dilrukshi Handunnetti. "The Center is conceptualized and driven by Sri Lankan journalists for journalists here. We wish to support ground-breaking investigative reporting initiatives, adhering to the highest global professional standards."
