La Red Global de Periodismo de Investigaci\u00f3n (GIJN), en conjunto con Mongabay Latam, organiz\u00f3 el taller \u201cMapas satelitales para investigar delitos ambientales\u201d, los d\u00edas 16 y 17 de junio del 2022, dirigido a periodistas investigativos con experiencia cubriendo el medio ambiente y que han hecho o quieren hacer reportajes e investigaciones usando im\u00e1genes satelitales.<\/p>\n

Se cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de destacados periodistas de la regi\u00f3n, entre ellos Gustavo Faleiros<\/a> del Pulitzer Center e InfoAmazonia; al igual que Michelle Carrere<\/a> y Alexa V\u00e9lez<\/a> de Mongabay Latam. Tambi\u00e9n\u00a0 Ruth Nogueron<\/a>, del World Resources Institute, para hablar de la herramienta Global Forest Watch.<\/p>\n
