Kamila Eshalieva is a freelance journalist from Kyrgyzstan. She graduated with a journalism degree from the American University of Central Asia and served as a copy-editor of the student newspaper. Kamila’s work has appeared in Open Democracy, a global media organization. She has written on subjects such as sexual and domestic violence, COVID-19, environmental issues, Kyrgyz politics.
