Jennifer is a Development Assistant at GIJN. Having grown up in Beijing, she has lived in China, England and Greece, before moving to DC where she is currently based.
Jennifer worked in over six refugee camps in Greece between 2016 and 2019 as an aid worker implementing humanitarian projects with a grassroots NGO. After Greece, she worked at a think tank based in Yangon researching the opportunities and challenges of the ongoing democratization and security transitions in Myanmar.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Politics at the University of Bristol in 2018, focusing on modern German philosophy. In 2021, she graduated with her MA degree in Geopolitics, Territory and Security at King’s College London, with concentrations in refugee studies and forced migration.
