Korea Journalism Review on Global Investigative Reporting

Korea Press ReviewGIJN is featured in the July cover story of Newspapers & Broadcasting, the monthly journalism review published by the Korea Press Foundation. The issue focuses on the role of nonprofits in the global spread of investigative journalism, and also features GIJN members International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and Investigative Reporters and Editors.

South Korea hosts a growing investigative journalism tradition, and our colleagues there recently started the first investigative reporting nonprofit in Northeast Asia, Newstapa — the Korea Center for Investigative Journalism. The KCIJ gets much of its funding from thousands of memberships.
